Huets have been in the mobile electronics business since the early Sixties. Back then it was drainpipe trousers, the Beatles and 8-track. Now we have CD, DVD, MP3 and iPod, LCD screens & rear-seat Video Games consoles.

Huets currently employ eleven staff across their two branches in Worthing and Portslade (near Brighton), in addition to the three partners who keep this very much a family business with a friendly, family approach.

Times and fashions have changed, but whatever the decade, Huets has been leading the way with the latest technology and the skills required to turn your vehicle into a mobile entertainment paradise or a well-equipped mobile office.

But if total transformation of your car isn't quite what you had in mind, don't worry - Huets take on relatively simple upgrades that often return a surprising improvement. A speaker upgrade is a very popular way of making a big improvement even to the sound from the car's standard stereo system, and adding things like hands-free control of your phone not only keeps you safe and legal but makes it much nicer to use your phone when you need to.

As the old saying goes, no job is too small or too big for Huets.

Alpine Electronics have launched ‘Dock ‘n’ Roll’, a package concept that combines one of two of Alpine’s Mobile Media Stations – the IVA-W205 or IVA-W505R - with the latest version of its Blackbird portable navigation system to create one integrated navigation solution.

Both the IVA-W205R and IVA-W505R are double DIN units capable of playing CD, DVD and MP3. Both units are Bluetooth enabled, offering hands-free calling which plays the caller's voice through the vehicle’s speakers.

Alpine’s portable Blackbird navigation system allows it to be easily transferred from vehicle to vehicle. Uniquely, it can be directly docked into the IVA-W205R and IVA-W505R.

The benefits of docking the Blackbird into the Mobile Media Stations include increased size in the screen display from 4” to 6.5” (IVA-W205R) or 7” (IVA-W505R), making it easier to input and see destinations. As the unit is integrated into the dashboard, it reduces glare from sunlight thus offering better visibility. In addition, as the unit is docked in the Mobile Media Station it eliminates cable clutter on the dash and is hidden from thieves. It also connects to an external GPS antenna providing a stronger signal for higher navigation accuracy.
