Top Tip | | Be careful when shopping for car insurance. Many insurers restrict the amount of cover on in-car entertainment and sat-nav. Swiftcover.com, for example, offer a decent £7000 of cover BUT only on equipment "included in the car manufacturer's original specification". If not, cover is limited to £500. It also has to be "permanently fitted", so portable sat-navs wouldn't be covered and would instead come under "personal belongings", for which there's a far lower amount of cover. Swiftcover appear to offer a good overall deal and we're not picking them out in particular - just make sure you always read the details of a policy before paying your money. |
