This unit was ever easy to install, i had it fitted and working within 15 minutes, and i am not very "hands on"
But then to my shame i had to read the instruction manual to set the thing up. but once done everything works well and would recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars great unit   July 27, 2010

This unit has undeservedly received a 1 star by it being so difficult to use, honestly it is a tad difficult to set up and yes i had to read the instructions once installed but the sound quality that this unit produces is well worth the read of the instructions manual, not often i will say that as normally i wouldn't need the manual but there are so many different options, filters and general tweaks u can do to this unit u need to know where to look, i have had plenty different units but right now i am running this unit on competition subs and components and it is a truly crisp sound, all i can say is buy this unit and let it prove itself.

1 out of 5 stars Kenwood - Never again!   February 8, 2010

I have had this stereo for at least a year now and still havent managed to understand the setup manual! It was easy to install and the handsfree is very handy but the Stereos primary function of playing pre-programmed favourite radio stations is very difficult due to the overcomplex menu system and manual. My demands are simple, I just want to easily select either radio 2 or mw 909 and the unit to default to the last radio station it had before switching off. Power the unit on and it always defaults to the white noise of no station until several buttons are pressed. It does setup a favourites list but its just to much like hard work to get it to do what you want it to!! ( as an engineer I seldom struggle with the setup of menu systems but my advise would be to steer clear, I wish I had done!)
