| Customer Reviews: Duragadget Case for Nuvi 1490T Sat Nav April 3, 2010 Roverenthusiast (Warwickshire, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I would recommend this case. It fits the Sat Nav perfectly, has a good feel to it and has a neat magnetic closure.
Its a cheaper option than the Garmin case and a good buy.
Perfect case for Garmin Nuvi 1490T May 10, 2010 A. Boboc (UK) Every time you buy an expensive gadget is preferred to buy also the accesories for protection.
Like for a new SLR is bettter to buy a case for the camera and an UV filter for the lens, the same applies to the satnav.
The case is faux leather I think but is a hard case and will provide a better protection than a cloth based one. The magnetic clip is great as it keeps the satnav inside. The price is fair for such a product.
You have to have a separate little bag for the powercable and FM antena as these will not fit togheter with the satnav.
A Case that fits March 4, 2010 Mr. Roger Eden (London UK) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This leather case fits the Garmin 1490 at consideably less cost than "official" cases. Many Garmin cases don't fit this bigger model. The lid is magnetic. It has a belt loop. No extra pockets, nor room for anything else, but protects the SatNav. At the price, more than enough.
Not as described June 6, 2010 Ivan Eyre (West Sussex, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'll keep this short - the case is not as described. We'll let 'Deluxe' go as that is somewhat subjective but it isn't 'hard' and it certainly isn't 'leather'. It's made from flimsy card covered in even more flimsy cheap, plastic-covered fabric. The one positive is the 1490t fits in it ok. Had to keep it as it was required next day. Certainly not worth the money once you build in the postage. Seller did not respond to emailed feedback, hence the post here.
