Hardly any of the vehicles coming off the factory line these days are delivered without some kind of entertainment system. For a while it may be adequate, and whether you like it or not you put up with it because you feel you paid for it when you bought the car. But the time usually comes when you decide the perform ance really isn’t up to much, and you’d like to add new features.
The way in which these factory-fitted systems are integrated into the car provides both advantages and disadvantages. Having the radio station name right there next to the other displays, and the volume and other controls right at your finger tips, is very handy. But when it comes to wanting to add something new, such as a DVD player or external amplifier to improve the sound quality, it can become a challenge, especially if you want to retain all the ease-of-use features.
THE SOUND GALLERY HAS THE SOLUTIONS The Sound Gallery has the solutions to allow better quality products to be added to your factory-fitted i.c.e. system without necessarily having to ditch the existing parts or lose the convenience of stalk-mounted controls and integrated displays. Every job, from a relatively simple speaker replacement, the installation of an alarm system, the fitting of a camera zone warning device, or a full DVD multimedia system, is given the same care and attention.
Mobile Media The latest in-car buzzword - Mobile Media - encompasses many things, all based around getting one or more video screens into a car. Once you have a screen, all manner of things can be integrated: TV, navigation, games, DVD, video and the ability to retrieve a lot more text information about music CDs and radio programmes. And with more and more cars now leaving the factory with integrated screens, The Sound Gallery have the skill and experience to interface your DVD player, i-Pod® and other audio-visual media to extend the use of the existing screen.
